CRIMINOLOGY INTERNSHIPS All students who intend to complete their CRM 435 Field Studies requirement during the summer or fall must submit an application to the Internship Director no later than the deadlines below. Spots for the summer are limited and will be first come, first serve.  Please refer to Internship web pages for information,

Mission Statement

The Department prepares students for further academic study and many different careers.  Students in the Department will acquire substantive bases of knowledge and the analytical, communication, and research skills necessary to become professionals in criminal justice, public policy, government, and other public and private enterprises.  Students will obtain the requisite knowledge and skills through assignments and work that entail written communication (such as papers, articles, books, and original data collections and interpretation); oral presentations; class discussion, debate, and group work.
